We are looking to hire someone for the position of **Elementary Lenguaje y Comunicación**
**Assistant Teacher **according to the following skills and qualifications:
**Position Details**
Position Name: Elementary Lenguaje y Comunicación Assistant Teacher
Reports to: Elementary School Principal and Head for National Plan Affairs
Time commitment: Full-time

**Preferred Qualifications and Experiences**
University degree in Early Years or Elementary Education- Familiar with Chilean´s Ministry of Education Standards (Objetivos de Aprendizaje).
- Relevant classroom experience (Grade K2 to Grade 2).
- Fluent in Spanish written and spoken.
- High level of English proficiency required.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Assist with instruction of individuals, small groups, or whole group in collaboration with
- the lead teacher- Assume the role of the lead teacher when the teacher is absent
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment
- Collaborate with the teacher and team grade level in planning and preparation of lessons
- Participates in parent-teacher conferences
- Assist teacher with administrative records and preparation of required reports, along with
- support of student assessments- Nurture students through attentive oversight and assist them during transitions
