Ausenco Global material handling group has several experienced and intermediate engineers as part of our team. We are proud to work with all major mining and bulk terminal clients with projects spanning all over the globe. Our projects cover the full design cycle, from developing early concepts, to early project studies to detailed design and supervising construction and commissioning, as well as inspection work during service.

Our team in South America is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Material Handling consultantto join our Transport & Logistics Business line. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individual for the role.

**About the role**:

- Execute, lead and deliver BMH team projects in varying size and complexity in a global perspective.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, reports, detailed engineering designs and deliverables and other documents as needed for the project.
- Develop and coordinate bulk material handling designs and logistic projects.
- Be a senior reviewer and provide technical oversight for bulk material handling system designs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship and training to more junior staff.
- Be responsible and manage from pre-feasibility studies to detailed design of materials handling systems and logistic studies,
- Participate in detailed field inspections of existing materials handling equipment to identify deficiencies or operational concerns, including motion checks and documentation of findings in a report.
- Manage and be responsible for BMH and logistic studies related proposals.
- Manage client relationships and growth in Material Handling area of expertise
- Manage internal and external client relationships both technical and non-technical meeting
- About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University. over 15 years’ experience working in mechanical engineering and experience within consulting engineering company environment. Experience on bulk materials handling projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- The ability to meet the challenge of tight deadlines and providing exceptional service to our clients is a must.
- Strong problem solving and organization skills.
- Understanding of financial reports and project budgets and schedules.
- People/team management experience
- Autonomous/self-driven and strong team collaboration skills are essential.
- Availability to travel for global projects support.
