**About the Role**:
**Purpose**
Provides technical expertise in the definition and management of construction and project/program construction strategies, standards and frameworks to ensure the construction process is optimized to enable safe and efficient management of construction operations.
**Core Accountabilities**
- Maintains a wide network of impact, integrates functions and operations and solves complex challenges to drive strong functional/asset integration across BHP
- Determines minimum quality assurance requirements, executes quality management plans and reviews quality control activities to enable the achievement of quality objectives across the project.
- Monitors HSE compliance and applies appropriate methodologies/standards to deliver effective construction to the project.
- Manages contract execution and analysis to maximise operational and financial performance and mitigate exposure and risk.
- Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Prioritizes work effort and resources accordingly.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organization.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
- Knows the project scope and is obsessed with meeting its needs.
**About You**:
**Qualifications**
- Professional Degree in Engineering or related.
- Experience in Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Experience & Technical Competencies
- Experience in Construction or Engineering Projects.
- Experience in risk management of Construction Project.
- Highly skilled in Excel and data analysis.
- Qualifications on Process improvements Methodologies is desirable.

- English fluent
