**Job Details**
The Position Management Center of Excellence (COE) Manager will join a collaborative team responsible for operationalizing the company workforce plan via Workday position management functionality. They will drive customer-first continued process and technology improvements as we implement new ways of working and quickly scale to 100,000+ employees. This team works closely with our Workforce Planning Center of Excellence, People Services and Operations team, Recruiting, Finance, Employee Success Business Partners (ESBPs), and business units to support data-driven and forward-thinking talent strategy and global growth plans for all of Salesforce.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drives continued organizational change and communication efforts as the organization adopts new processes around headcount management.
- Partner closely with the Workforce Planning (WFP) Center of Excellence (COE) on the execution of global workforce plans via position management.
- Supports processes for business to make plan adjustments (surge hiring, position reprioritization, incremental additions, in-budget position splits, etc.)
- Partners with People Services and Operations teams to ensure effective day-to-day position management processes (workday initiation, changes, approvals, compliance etc.)
- Consults with Business Headcount planners and managers on foundational solutions for operational challenges.
- Participates in quarterly workforce plan reviews and reporting conversations with WF Plan owners, partnering with hiring managers, business leaders, finance, and people business partners to drive in-budget / on-target execution.
- Partners with People and Recruiting analytics teams to design and refine dashboards and report that allow Finance and the Business to effectively manage headcount.
- Identifies and executes process improvements to streamline and simplify position management for participants (such as hiring managers, Finance, People team) and stakeholders (i.e., business leaders)
- Supports resolution of Tier 3 issues tied to position and headcount management
- Core member of ‘tiger team’ providing hypercare support in the early stage launch of the program.
**Desired Experience/Skills**:
- 7+ years of experience in people or workforce operations and or program management including experience with Workday position management functionality.
- Broad-based business knowledge and acumen
- Ability to influence, work in a matrixed environment and forge strategic cross-functional partnerships a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be comfortable engaging with senior leadership
- Analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving
- High level understanding of headcount planning and public company finance processes, a plus.
- For Colorado-based roles only: Minimum annual salary of $117,000. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. _
