**About the Role**:
This role provides an exciting opportunity to provide Strategic Planning, Governance and Integration leadership and support to the Non
- Operated Joint Venture (NOJV) which includes the BHP interests in Antamina (Peru), Resolution (USA), Samarco (Brazil), Renova (Brazil).

You will be fundamental in supporting regional operational, commercial and strategic activities.
- Lead the strategic planning for Minerals Americas NOJV including alignment with BHP’s overall strategy, the NOJV annual strategic view and plan, and the longer-term strategic vision for the NOJV unit.
- Drive excellence in joint venture Governance at a portfolio level and for each of BHP’s non-operated Joint Ventures, taking into account the different nature of each Joint Venture (e.g., multiple shareholders, operating/producing asset, greenfields development project in studies phase, different commodities (copper, iron ore), and a foundation).
- Run the NOJV Management Office, with accountability for (i) ensuring BHP’s operational model for non-operated Joint Ventures is successfully implemented across the Joint Ventures portfolio, (ii) driving, tracking, and reporting on Joint Ventures performance, (iii) overseeing the implementation of assurance and risk processes across the portfolio, and (iv) actively seeking opportunities for value creation.
- Manage and integrate the BHP global and regional Functional model to support the success of the Joint Ventures team, integrating SME support from Functional areas such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, HSE, External Affairs and others and managing multiple work streams and internal initiatives.
- Leads the integration and management of multiple work streams across the NOJV Minerals Americas regional functions and global functions focused on Safety, Culture and Productivity, delivered through a strategic vision on communication, stakeholder management, innovation, risk management, assurance processes and change management.
- Supports the monitoring and governance of the NOJV portfolio in conjunction with the GM Brazil, Heads of JVs Antamina and Resolution, and their teams, actively seeking opportunities for value creation, by setting strategies for standardization, replication, and risk management.
- Manage and integrate the NOJV performance overview to the Joint Venture team, Minerals Americas and Group in conjunction with the JV team and each of the global and regional functional representative.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Manages Joint Venture AP and Leadership (Antamina, Samarco, Renova and Resolution) working agenda, including BOS routines for coordination and decision-making process.
- Leads the monitoring, benchmarks and reports of Joint Venture Portfolio performance.
- Maintains the Joint Venture data integrity for effective management of the portfolio
- Supports the setting and management of Joint Venture Portfolio standards and processes including BLD, Reporting, CAP, Key Focus Areas, Influencing Plans, Budget, BOS, Governance, Risk, Auditing and A&I
- Leads the setting and manages the processes to validate and manage Joint Venture Portfolio information including appropriately generation, transference and storage to ensure assets match the physical and financial performances.
- Validates that risk is properly assessed and controlled across the Joint Venture in conjunction with the NOJV Risk BP
