Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Expert, Rubber Mixing and Recycling to join our Mexico team. You will be responsible of supply chain in safety, sustainability, quality and financial performance.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of In Manufacturing Engineering (ME) experts, the focus is on customer satisfaction, product quality and operational safety and environmental impact and efficiency through product process engineering. In efficiency the focus is in reliable and competitive lead times and high productivity, thus low product cost.
**What you’ll do**:
- Act as a global technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Rubber Mixing and Recycling operations: provide support and knowledge of rubber compound manufacturing, batch control to local teams
- Own the processes of existing rubber mixing and recycling machines globally and oversee the usage and performance
- Manage mixing and recycling projects globally (e.g. investments)
- Develop and optimize rubber mixing and recycling processes to enhance production safety, efficiency, material quality, and sustainability and circularity of materials.
- Assure compliance of rubber mixing and recycling processes to standards and regulations
- Analyse and resolve process issues in mixing and recycling operations together with local teams, ensuring consistent quality and minimizing downtime.
**Who you are**:
- You have desire to take Rubber & Polymet Supply Chain processes to Tier-1 level in regards of product process engineering.
- Master of Science in engineering: Material technology / industrial engineering / mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge & experience
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience: Manufacturing industries, process engineering, production systems
- Understanding and practical interpretation of manufacturing standards and specifications (e.g. drawings, machine manuals)
- Understanding machine specifications, machine building, automation
- Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, at a professional level is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 general computer proficiency
- Data mining and visualization skills
- Statistical analysis capabilities is an asset
- SAP skills and experience is an asset
- Result oriented and data and financial gain -driven
- Technical aptitude; deep understanding of product, production, and work processes
- Capability to develop and maintain relationships with technical process experts and owners, front line leaders, and employees.
- Understanding of work standardization and process management.
- Ability to see things with big picture -approach (total value flow, costing)
- Teamwork skills of collaboration, sharing, reflection
- Strong interpersonal effective oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to present ideas logically and influence others toward actions
