**Important responsibilities in this role will include**:
- Lead Generation:
- Develop problem statements and hypotheses that Evalueserve is uniquely positioned to solve through our ESG & Sustainability solutions.
- Create target lists of personas and prospects
- Lead cold outreach campaigns with the SDR team and design the HubSpot sequences
- Attend and represent Evalueserve at relevant industry events.
- Lead the continuous creation of relevant ESG thought leadership such as webinars, publications, podcasts, etc.
- Client Discussions and Problem Diagnosis:
- Research client to identify specific problem statements.
- Create or tailor client-specific collateral to use to communicate with the client.
- Lead client meetings, conduct in-depth client discussions to diagnose unique client requirements, present Evalueserve’s value proposition.
- Manage internal stakeholder alignment.
- Conduct client demos of our technology platforms such as InsightsFirst or CarbonDetect.
- Proposal Development and Pricing:
- Lead the development of technical proposals and follow up collateral in close collaboration with operations, product and sales teams.
- Pitch proposals to clients and lead any iterations.
- Work with operations and product teams to develop bottoms-up pricing proposals.
- Lead the creation of proposal templates for our standard solutions.
- Lead contractual negotiations.
- Delivery:
- Lead project team-staffing mix. Collaborate with the operations team to assemble project teams with the right skills.
- Lead project delivery to completion.
**Skills we’re looking for**:
- ESG and Sustainability Expertise:
- Knowledge of how ESG issues are integrated into corporate strategies, operations, and governance, including the ability to advise on ESG implementation within different industry sectors.
- Expertise in the connection between ESG metrics and financial performance, with a focus on their importance for financial institutions, including risk management, sustainable finance, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding ESG data providers and their methodologies, as well as the ability to assess and recommend relevant ESG data sources to support decision-making and reporting.
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting and emerging regulatory standards and conducting materiality assessments to identify and prioritize the most relevant ESG issues for a specific organization or industry.
- Expertise in assessing and managing climate-related risks and opportunities, including understanding carbon accounting methodologies, greenhouse gas emissions, and the implications of climate change for businesses.
- Client Relationship Management and Renewals:
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Ability to identify and engage potential clients interested in ESG and sustainability services.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value of ESG and sustainability consulting.
- Experience in tailoring ESG and sustainability solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-starter and enterprising nature:
- Comfort with working in a dynamic and evolving consulting environment and influencing without formal authority.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starting and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting client needs and project deadlines.
- Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving field of ESG and sustainability.
