As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be engineering projects in Process Automation in Santiago, Chile, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. You will ensure successful Process Automation delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

**This position reports to**:
Principal Project Engineer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Santiago, Chile
- Design authority for an engineering discipline with low or medium complexity
- Complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Solid multidiscipline of engineering techniques, process and tools aimed to design and size MV/LV Drives systems solutions.
- Provides technical support for installation and testing stages, creates work plans and control cost
- Reviews and approves scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensures the whole electrical rooms and others systems/supply are delivered on time and within targeted cost
- Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, and disseminating engineering best practices to aid colleagues’ development
- Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees

**Your background**:

- +8 years of experience in a similar position
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including low and medium voltage variable frequency drives engineering, sizing and commissioning
- A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of ETAP electrical power system program. Variable speed drives (low and medium voltage)
- Experience in air conditioning, pressurization, and firefighting systems design. MV Rectifiers
- Advanced-Fluent English Level
