As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the design authority for engineering projects in the Process Automation Business in Chile, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. In this role, you will ensure successful delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

**This position reports to**:
Service Team Leader

**Your responsibilities**:

- Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Chile.
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
- Cost-effectively executing project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
- Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals and disseminating engineering best practices to aid colleagues’ development.
- Creating and delivering work plans, budgets and risk assessments.
- Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil or Automation Engineering.
- 5 years of experience working with projects.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including virtualization software.
- Experience in industrial automation processes, desirable in ABB 800 XA equipment.
- Knowledge of communication protocols and industrial networks.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced English.
- Availability to travel
