**About the role**:
The Manager Business Planning Minerals Americas is responsible for leading the Corporate Alignment Process (CAP) in Minerals Americas; leading the successful deployment of the BHP Operating System (BOS) in the Planning & Technical Regional Function and managing Planning & Technical budget and monthly reporting.
This role reports to the VP Planning & Technical and it is part of the Minerals Americas Regional Planning & Technical leadership team.
- Fosters a creative environment to push the thinking; drives appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement to ensure organisational alignment
- Support P&T Leadership team and establish P&T engagement routines and coordination
- Proactively manage the CAP cycle including Group engagement, Minerals Americas organization and alignment, strategic cases analysis and final Appraisals
- Support the Assets and NOJVs in the development and communication of their asset planning (LoAs and 5YPs)
- Engage with BOS deployment team to build and maintain P&T BOS routines
- Responsible for the development of P&T Budget and monthly performance report
- Development and tracking of Planning & Technical scorecard
- Adhoc projects aligned with Minerals America´s Growth Ambition

**About You**:
Professional Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline(s), commercial or related discipline.
- Ideally further study such as an MBA or specialization in general management and project management
- Typically 7+ years’ experience in the mining, utility (power or water) industry or consulting industry
- Team leadership experience
- High degree of business acumen
- Continuous improvement experience
- English written and spoken, Spanish desired
