Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood Mining and Metals is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to be a part of the Finance Area based in Chile.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Assists the Finance Manager in cost reporting and monitoring of project budgets
- Prepare and reports project and company reports to headquarters
- Supervises project accountants and oversees all project accounting activities
- Provides guidance to project accountants and resolves project accounting queries when required.
- Participates in budget development as well as in the determination of burden, overhead and multipliers
- Responsible for ensuring development and maintenance of monthly workload, backlog and space capacity reports
- Prepare and control the weekly utilization of the company
- Close coordination with the project control manager of each project to ensure all transactions are in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Ensures all monthly project invoices are prepared and provided to the Accounts Receivable department on a timely basis.
- Develops project and financial reports to assist management, including burn rates, provisions, revenue recognition, intercompany contracts, etc.
- Ensures all financial activities and requirements relating to project close-outs are carried out in a timely manner.

Skills / Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in engineering companies in the Finance area and/or Project control area
- Engineer, MBA or CPA
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail required. High degree of initiative and flexibility.
