**About The Opportunity**

As the Geologist, Technical Specialist, based in Chile, you will play a vital support role for customers of Micromine Origin. Being at the forefront of client interactions, your work will solidify customer relationships and ensure they are receiving maximum value from our products and services. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing mining software companies in the Americas in a dynamic role with an exciting team.

Reporting directly to the Product Specialist Team Lead, Exploration and Mining your key responsibilities will include:

- Scoping, configuring, and deploying Micromine Origin for customers
- Ensuring product enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved
- Conducting training with clients and in-house staff (in-person and online)
- BETA testing new versions and products to check improved functionality
- Supporting the Sales team during technical demonstrations, trade shows, and other events

**About You**

You are an experienced Geologist and have hands-on experience with general-purpose geology software (e.g. Micromine Origin, Leapfrog, Vulcan etc.).

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Experienced with concepts such as exploration, geology modeling and resource estimation
- A tertiary qualification in Geology, Mining or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in an operational exploration or mining environment
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, is a must
- Prior experience running trainings, formal or informal (preferred)
- Experience within the Geology or Mining Software industry (preferred)
