**The Position**
You will develop and execute the public affairs strategy according to the overall affiliate business plan to shape public policies and create a favourable business environment that supports patient access; contributes to the development of public affairs knowledge, skills and insights within the affiliate.

Main responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the public affairs strategy according to affiliate business plan and ensure that all activities are conducted according to business ethics and compliance policies. Responsible for defining and tracking KPIs and budget
- Carry out effective public affairs initiatives to elevate our therapeutic areas on the political agenda and shape pricing & reimbursement policies using valid evidence. Identify strategic opportunities for policy development or change related to Novo Nordisk disease areas and patient access
- Monitor and analyse how policies and trends impact Novo Nordisk, demonstrating this in project work by incorporating insights from the external environment where appropriate. Update colleagues on trends and developments and feedback knowledge to the business to mitigate possible impact on plans and objectives
- Establish and maintain network of policy stakeholders and influencers. Implement stakeholder engagement activities that support Novo Nordisk priorities in collaboration with internal and external partners, providers and agencies. Create partnerships with patient organisations and other strategic entities to support advocacy activities
- Create understanding of the importance of public affairs to the business, identifies gaps in public affairs knowledge in the affiliate and ensures training to close gaps. Supports other departments with execution of relevant initiatives

**Qualifications**
- University degree is preferable on the following areas: Political Science, Economics, Health Care Professional
- English & Spanish Fluency, written and spoken
- Experience: At least 3 years in MAPA (Market Access & Public Affairs) functions within pharmaceutical industry
- Mobility: National and international reach. Travel is expected up to 30%
