Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist

LOCATION

SAN RAMON

Robert Half is seeking a Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist to support the Global Marketing Analytics team through the development and implementation of code that enables our digital marketing measurement infrastructure. This role will focus on creating custom JavaScript and HTML code via tag management systems to support web measurement and 3rd party advertising solutions. Additionally, this individual will support initiatives aimed at implementation of machine learning, data warehousing, and data automation systems. This person will work closely with members of the Global Marketing Analytics team, Digital Advertising Team, and Online Marketing Team in support of our global measurement and performance-advertising infrastructure.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Engages in initiatives focused on development and implementation of code and tools that enable our global digital marketing measurement infrastructure.
- Develops, maintains, and configures tag management systems to support web measurement and 3rd party advertising solutions.
- Works closely with Manager to execute Analytics product road map.
- Provides Marketing Analytics infrastructure and process gap analysis and recommendations.
- Conducts research on state of the art in Marketing Analytics technology.
- Recommends new processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of data reporting and automation.
- Researches machine learning modeling and best practices.
- Ensures institutional knowledge through the development and maintenance of technical documentation for systems and processes implemented.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economic or related course of study required or equivalent work experience.
- Related Master’s Degree a plus
- 2+ years front-end web or analytics development experience
- 2+ years’ experience with Google Analytics,
- 1+ year developing tag management solutions (Tealium preferred).
- Strong tag management skills
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
- CSS and HTML proficient.
- Good communications skills - must be able to explain relatively complex analyses in ways that are understandable and actionable to marketing stakeholders.
- Must also be able to clearly articulate both strategic direction, and tactical actions to Professional/Management Levels, IT team, and marketing stakeholders.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical ability.
- Ability to work independently and set priorities based on high level direction of Manager
