- We are looking for a Business Director for South Region - Latin America.
Overseeing the daily operations of the company in South Region. Ensure strategic and finacial goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and provide executive direction of sales and marketing strategies.
The role is responsible for driving business growth, achievement of company sales, financial objectives, successfully manages revenue goals and quotas, thinks strategically to create growth and gain competitive market share advantage, strong developer of talent, prudent risk taker, self-awareness and adaptability. Improves financial performance by effectively managing resources and Regional budget, launches new items and develop strong relationship with customers and KOL’s, managing change and complexity, owning the P&L of the business, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and shaping the external environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Internal meetings and reporting
Traveling to visit indirect costumers and meet with distributors
Expense reports and approvals
Chile Office General Management duties
Sales & Marketing:
- Overall Accountability and Achievement of agreed annual P&L Budget for the region.
- Overall company sales plans - short/medium term, e.g. territory plans, targets (individual/region)
- Develop and Implementation of marketing plans/strategy.
- Identification and development of major key account customers, e.g. distributors, hospitals, etc.
- New product Planning/ Launches
Setting up overall operations:
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
Product Registration, Sales, Distribution and Marketing.
- Business development in the new markets Coordinate
Product Pipeline decision and Registration:
- Designing product pipeline for future launches.
- Registering the products with appropriate agencies.
- First Hand Knowledge of Registration and Regulatory guidelines
Legal:
- Complying with all the legal liabilities.
- Payment of taxes; legal fees etc
Human Resources:
- Recruitment, development and management of a team of successful people in the region.
- Monitoring activity of the team working with them to improve performance and capabilities.
- Setting aggressive targets for the region/countries and monitor the achievement on a constant basis against set targets.
- Management and Training of other staff - recruitment, target setting, training, etc.
- Overall HR planning to ensure optimum use of organization structure, sales training strategy, Management performance’s systems, etc.
**Requirements**:
- A degree in business management or a similar field, an MBA would be preffered and experience managing large teams or similar roles.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a team(s); 7 years in IVD.
- Leadership position in Marketing responsible for strategy and/or market development.
- Leadership position in Sales with a proven track record for driving business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, develop retain and advance high performing individuals.
- Preferred cross-regional role experience to increase enterprise thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with P&L management responsibilities and understanding of financial decisions.
- C-Suite presence and strong IVD network
