**Specialty Leader**

- Define and implement the long-term business strategy at the market level in alignment with global and regional strategy.
- Provide direction and focus, holds staff accountable, and drives engagement through frequent communication and dialogue.
- Lead key client engagements and large, complex clients and issues, directing the work of the project team, developing strategic solutions that address client needs and issues.
- Manage overall service delivery, clarifies and resolves unique and difficult issues related to client deliverables.

**We will count on you to**:
- Develop and execute a Specialty Strategy for Chile ultimately driving growth of both risk advisory and brokerage in each of the Specialty areas; strategies will need to be developed for each Specialty.
- Lead and has overall P&L (Profit & Loss) accountability for a unit within Specialty, including budgeting, staffing and strategy.
- Support hitting overall Marsh Specialty plans. In addition, support overall Marsh Specialty growth with a “best in front” approach and guidance to the Specialty Advisory team.
- Actively manage all aspects of unit finances, contributing to the financial success of the business and market overall.
- Manage business development activities for Specialty in support of driving growth in Specialty through RFPs, account penetration, and client prospecting. Support business development of broader Marsh Specialty.
- Manage client revenue levels by ensuring profitable client relationships are formed and maintained.
- Coordinate and develop content to establish the value proposition for Specialty.
- Manage the Specialty teams to high performance, high community involvement, and foster leading edge consulting and thought leadership.
**What you need to have**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid experience in Consulting (+15 years) in Insurance or Reinsurance (Placement or Risk Consulting)
- Solid experience and leadership of at least one Specialty practice.
- Solid Placement and insurance underwriting background, knowledge and management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with client contacts.
- Proven track record in driving and transforming the business
- Established network of management, underwriting, insurer and broker contacts
- Proven leadership experience with focus on growing and developing team members to drive for outstanding results and create inclusive environment
- Must be able to effectively interact and deal with multiple stakeholders at all levels inside as well as key contacts & partners outside of the company.
- Strong organizational, analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
- Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow through on and successfully execute tasks while adhering to specified quality standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and Spanish.
