**About the role**:
Role: Digital Solutions Specialist
Orica Digital Solutions - Latin America
Position: Specialist - Marketing (Product) - JR 23839
Base: Santiago, Chile

**What you will be doing**:

- Take over the responsibility of BlastIQ Specialist - the specialist within the Latin America region with deep knowledgeable on Orica’s Digital Solution suite of products and services across various lines of business
- Interacting directly with customers across various departments - D&B, Geology, Geo-tech, GIS, Metallurgy, Comminution and Operations - understand the unique challenges/constraints they operate under and articulate to them how Orica’s solutions address those challenges.
- Perform site-scoping and build customer’s D&B and Materials processing map, tailor and implement BlastIQ and other digital solutions to meet customer’s process.
- Lead training workshops during implementation and periodically afterwards to help customers realize the full value of Orica solutions.
- Establish regular cadence (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) with each assigned client, to review executive dashboards, and program status.
- Act as the Orica liaison for customer’s technical inquiries, issues or escalations. This will include working with Orica Support team, Product owners, Architects, developers and/or others as needed.
- Cement yourself as a trusted/strategic advisor with customers and drive continued value of our products and services.
- Work to identify and/or develop upsell opportunities.

**Metrics**:

- Maintaining a deeper knowledge of Orica’s digital products and services across each work-stream
- Self-sufficient management of 20-25 Large Customers
- Actively ensure there is a roadmap in place for each of your accounts to upsell/cross-sell all of Orica’s digital products/services.
- Timely execution of standard customer meetings and reviews for your defined accounts
- Ensure there are no tickets/escalations/issues with an aging beyond 15 days.

**Your qualifications**:
**Critical Experience and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of Mining domain expertise with deeper knowledge in any of Geology/Metallurgy/Geo-tech/GIS/Comminution
- Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly while still having the ability to focus on details and be analytical.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI) and the ability to learn other tools that will be utilized in this role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, social skills including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (estimated average 25%). Since travel is based on customer and business need there may be more or less travel depending on location of customers.

**Preferred Experience and Qualifications**:

- 2+ years in a customer facing services role (consulting and/or account management) that includes issue resolution and escalation management.
- Prior experience conducting workshops to customers and discussing pros cons of implementing various technologies and business value.
- Experience in mining specifically in digital technology (software, information systems, communication systems, navigation systems)
- Experience in selling technology products in the mining industry
- English and Spanish language fluency (Portuguese is a plus)
