**Job Duties**:
1.Provides professional representation for CFSC used equipment inventory in a given territory, which includes developing and managing relationships with dealers and MBD colleagues. Creates advocacy at the dealer and MBD levels to drive maximum price realization for CFSC used equipment inventory.

2.Holds primary responsibility for the local Cat Financial Remarketing relationship with the dealer management and sales teams. Acts as a liaison between CFSC Remarketing and the dealer for facilitation of used equipment inventory transactions.

3.Evaluates the condition and market value of repossessed and lease return units. Uses this analysis to sell the equipment to dealers for the best commercially reasonable price in the current market. Negotiates price and items such as repairs, freight, extended coverage, and financing.

4.Collaborates with Line Unit team to help train the field force to be effective advocates for Remarketing, identifying opportunities and leads, understanding available solutions and directing inquiries to the Remarketing Sales Representative.

5.Sells to and through identified dealers in a specific territory. Develops business relationships with dealers through strategic account plans, including metrics and measures of success, including dealer sales targets.

6.Leverages Sales Excellence tools by maintaining a sales pipeline, managing opportunities through the various sales stages, from opportunity to deal closed.

7.Maintains an understanding of the used equipment market and demand for different machine models and brand names throughout the coverage area.

8.Collaborates with sales team to help drive knowledge and awareness of Remarketing’s inventory and capabilities. Participates in area team meetings when available.

9.Visits Caterpillar dealers to develop relationships and gain an enhanced understanding of their used/rental operation and needs.

10.Maintains CFSC used equipment sale documents critical in repossession and bankruptcy situations.

11.Assures and drives improvement in dealer satisfaction of CFSC Remarketing.

12.Understands and sells the value of CFSC Remarketing to CFSC sales team, dealers and enterprise partners.

13.Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE**:
2.Advanced knowledge of the used equipment marketplace.
3.Advanced ability to read/analyze various business reports pertaining to the sale of Caterpillar equipment.
4.Demonstrated knowledge of Caterpillar products, common machine configurations and marketing strategies.
5.Demonstrated knowledge of how the economy impacts business.
6.Advanced ability to handle several complicated problems/transactions simultaneously.
7.Proven ability to pay close attention to detail.
8.Comprehensive knowledge of the market values on construction, mining, ancillary equipment brands.
9.Advanced knowledge of the used equipment market and the demand for Caterpillar and other brand name equipment throughout the coverage area.
10.Advanced knowledge of and the ability to make sound decisions when dealing with changing market values and negotiating with customers and dealers on a daily basis.
11.Basic knowledge of how the economy impacts business.
12.Ability to drive a car or adequately arrange for transportation to and from dealerships, customer sites, etc.
13.Ability to travel inte
