You are a strong technical leader who is ready to step into or deepen your path as an Engineering Manager. You bring a solid foundation as a software developer, experience designing software solutions end‑to‑end, and the ability to guide teams through both technical and organizational challenges. You excel at balancing people leadership, process management, and product alignment, and you're passionate about fostering strong engineering practices and high‑performing teams

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of development efforts: technical requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing/debugging, and delivery.
  • Deliver high‑quality software solutions to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of AudienceView's products.
  • Foster and champion an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment, guiding and coaching the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs and delivery commitments.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing team: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a culture of results‑driven quality.
  • Advocate for engineering excellence and contribute best practices aligned with industry standards.

What you'll need:

  • Professional experience in software development/engineering, ideally with experience designing and building software systems.
  • Background in object‑oriented development using Java, C++, or C#.
  • Experience as a technical leader or Technical Engineering Manager, ideally shifting toward a more managerial focus than hands-on coding.
  • Experience leading and mentoring software engineers, improving their technical capabilities and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: OOP, data structures, algorithms, problem‑solving, complexity analysis.
  • Experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
  • Knowledge of SDLC best practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, OO modeling, and architecture design.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

It'd be nice if you have:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure systems (Kubernetes, Azure ecosystem, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD B2C).
  • Ability to influence engineering best practices across teams.
  • Hands‑on exposure across the tech stack, from frontend UI to backend services.
  • Experience delivering customer‑focused, simple, and innovative solutions.

How we hire - here's a brief overview of our recruitment process:

  • Screening & Resume Review: Our Talent Acquisition team will evaluate all resumes and select candidates for a video screening call for 30 minutes.
  • Hiring Manager Interview (60 minutes): Meet with the hiring manager to speak in detail about your relevant experience and learn more about the role.
  • Meet more of the team (60 minutes): Meet more of the Engineer Team to learn more about the work culture and the expectations.
  • Culture fit call (30 minutes): Meet with a member of our Culture & People team to discuss your communication style, values, and leadership approach.
