The role
We are looking for a
Junior Business Analyst
to join our
Mining & Metals team in Chile
. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and learning how complex operations work in practice.

You will support consulting projects by analyzing data, structuring processes, and helping turn insights into clear recommendations. You'll work closely with experienced consultants, gain exposure to clients, and develop a strong foundation in operations consulting.

What You'll Do

  • Support teams in structuring processes and analyses that help clients make better decisions.
  • Analyze data, operational processes, and risks to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops, helping frame problems and explore solutions.
  • Build clear and engaging presentations, reports, and visual materials to communicate insights.
  • Track project progress, analyze KPIs, and support the delivery of key milestones.
  • Use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to analyze and visualize data.
  • Support risk management discussions and help structure frameworks for operational risk analysis.
  • Learn and apply new analytical tools and technologies as part of your development.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, market intelligence, or similar analytical roles.
  • Academic background in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to understand how businesses and operations work.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • Interest in Mining & Metals, industrial operations, and business transformation.
  • Fluent English; Spanish is required for local client interactions.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to operational efficiency, risk management, or data analytics projects.
  • Experience using modern analytical or digital tools.
  • Previous experience working with industrial or mining environments.
