Role Overview

As a Consultant within the Metals & Mining practice in Mexico, you will support project delivery and client engagements focused on operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with project leaders and client teams, contributing analytical insights, on-the-ground execution, and structured problem-solving to help clients achieve measurable performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of consulting engagements, including business assessments, diagnostics, and implementation initiatives.
• Work closely with project managers and senior consultants to structure analyses, develop recommendations, and support solution implementation.
• Contribute to client workshops, data analysis, and on-site activities, working directly with frontline teams and client stakeholders.
• Support the development of client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and implementation roadmaps.
• Participate in internal knowledge sharing, contributing to methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Support business development efforts through market research, proposal preparation, and client insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting and/or hands-on experience in the Metals & Mining industry.
• Solid understanding of concepts related to operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability.
• 6+ years of professional experience supporting transformation initiatives in industrial or consulting environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with client teams and internal stakeholders.
• Experience supporting or coordinating workstreams within consulting projects.

Working Experience

• Experience supporting clients in transformation initiatives, including diagnostics, operational roadmaps, and implementation support.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving and consulting methodologies; exposure to dss+ methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills.
• Solid business and technical acumen.

Education & Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• A mix of industry and consulting experience is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
