At Joby Company, we are seeking a Head of Controlling with a strong background in the FMCG and/or retail sector to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with senior management, providing in-depth financial analysis, accurate reporting, and strategic recommendations to drive business growth. This role involves continuously evaluating and monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and leveraging opportunities to maximize resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct cost, profitability, and efficiency analyses to identify optimization opportunities and resource maximization.
  • Manage and track KPIs related to product line performance, corporate projects, and action plan progress.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes, ensuring integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
  • Periodically analyze financial performance vs established goals, identifying variances and proposing corrective measures.
  • Ensure expense optimization and detect inefficiencies to define, implement, and follow up on corresponding action plans.
  • Propose and lead efficiency, savings, and profitability projects across different areas of the organization, working in collaboration with area leaders.

Technical Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Financial Controller or similar roles.
  • Strong skills in reporting, inventory management and control, and product analysis.
  • Advanced English (mandatory).
