The role of Senior Estimator is crucial in providing professional leadership in the preconstruction phase, including value engineering, alternative and comparative studies. This position requires an experienced individual to drive growth across the Florida region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead estimating functions for large, complex projects.
- Derive systems quantities for Building Information Models (BIM) and other estimating software.
- Present estimates and participate in bid reviews, overseeing a team of estimators.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is essential, along with 10+ years of experience/knowledge in construction estimating. The ideal candidate will have a vast background in project estimating, with values circa $100m. They must be familiar with hard-bid, design-build, and alternative delivery estimates, as well as proficient in estimating software such as WinEst, OST, SmartBid, Excel, and Word.
