We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Solutions Executive to join our team in Wärtsilä Energy Storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, creating demand through sales and marketing efforts, and closing profitable deals for Energy Storage Solutions in South America.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Originate new business opportunities for Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) in South America, including hardware & software for new build and service agreements.
  2. Accurately forecast and deliver sales ranging in magnitude from $10 - $200M+ each with profitability and risk profiles according to company directives.
  3. Own customer relationship and opportunity business case/es (Capex & Opex).
  4. Create strong market presence and increase awareness of Wärtsilä energy storage solutions.
  5. Develop, manage, and grow long-term relationships with key customer accounts throughout energy storage project lifecycle.
  6. Create and execute strategy and account planning for assigned customers.
  7. Create new opportunities from named accounts, influencing customers' decisions by aligning their needs with Wärtsilä value proposition.
  8. Prepare and submit offers for energy storage solutions.
  9. Lead contract lifecycle from origination through negotiation, closing, and Notice to Proceed (NTP), activating and directing internal colleagues as needed in a matrix organization.
  10. Enter timely and relevant data on opportunities and accounts in SalesForce CRM (funnel management).
Main Requirements:

5 – 10 years of experience managing business development strategy and execution within the renewable power market specific to Energy Storage solutions. English proficiency at a minimum of a proficient level.
