Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our Indirect Tax Team in Chile. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supervising the Chile tax team and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for tax compliance, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Chile tax team and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage team deadlines and monitor progress.
  • Research tax concepts and apply them to tax filings and processes.
  • Actively evaluate information for hospitality filings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review complex work and guide tax accountants.
  • Ensure team compliance with SOX controls, team procedures, and company policies.
  • Help set team goals and metrics.
  • Meet with team members weekly and mentor career growth.
  • Support business initiatives to assist with growth and indirect tax compliance.
  • Train team members on indirect tax concepts.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant tax experience.
  • Prior US tax experience or public accounting experience required.
  • Strong understanding of indirect tax.
  • Ability to succeed in ambiguity.
  • Highly organized and thorough.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Strong people manager/team leader.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google apps for business.
