We are seeking a seasoned Underwriting Officer to lead our underwriting efforts in Latin America. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving underwriting excellence and advancing our underwriting strategy in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement underwriting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
- Lead a team of underwriters to achieve underwriting profitability, governance, and risk management objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance underwriting strategies, product development, and pricing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze underwriting performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and clients.
- 15+ years of experience in insurance underwriting, with a strong background in property and casualty insurance.
- Proven track record of driving underwriting excellence and advancing underwriting strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
