The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center. This includes identifying risks, performing quality assessments, troubleshooting and reporting, and providing training and guidance to the operation team.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Maintenance: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center.
- EHS Compliance: Ensure all EHS procedures are adhered to by vendor and Huawei staff.
- Technical Support: Act as a technical professional for all facilities-related issues within the data center, escalating to the HQ tech team as needed.
- Knowledge Sharing: Create and deploy new standard practices for technicians and IDC vendor support teams.
- Professional in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Work Experience: More than 3 years of relevant work experience in data center infrastructure or another critical environment, or more than 5 years of technical training or experience with data center facility equipment.
- Languages: Proficiency in English at 80% (spoken and written).
- Solid knowledge and work experience in data center facilities (e.g., UPS, transformer, chiller).
- Familiarity with electrical technology.
