Fitness Cycling Coach: Part-Time

We are seeking a motivated and certified Fitness Cycling Coach to join our Wellness Team at the Valparaiso Family YMCA.
As a Fitness Cycling Coach, you will be responsible for leading energizing and fun group classes that support the Y's mission and goals. You will work closely with participants to help them achieve their health and wellness objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a national certification in group fitness instruction (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification within 90 days of hire. Previous experience teaching group wellness classes is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead group cycling classes that are safe, enjoyable, and positive for participants of all skill levels.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of wellness trends to provide effective information and support to members.
- Build strong relationships with members and help them connect with each other and the YMCA.
- Foster a supportive environment that celebrates achievement and encourages personal growth.
**What We Offer:**
- A competitive hourly rate of $14.00-$18.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
