Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Massage Therapist/Esthetician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our spa and salon team, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatment services to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide massage services to guests using various techniques and modalities, including props and products.
  • Offer body treatments, such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, to promote relaxation and well-being.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications, such as allergies or high blood pressure, before beginning service.
  • Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to your field of work.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to create a peaceful atmosphere.
  • Check in with guests regularly to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service.
  • Promote and sell spa and salon services, including retail offerings related to the spa.
  • Clean and maintain tools, workstations, and treatment rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor and adhere to time schedules throughout the day.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International's standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Current licensure in massage therapy and esthetics, as required by regional regulations.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
