Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Massage Therapist/Esthetician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our spa and wellness team, you will provide exceptional massage and esthetic services to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide massage services to guests using various techniques and modalities, including props and products.
  • Offer body treatments, such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, to promote relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications, such as allergies and medical conditions, to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities in the field of massage and esthetics.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
  • Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to create a peaceful and calming environment.
  • Check in with guests regularly to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
  • Promote and sell spa and salon services, including retail offerings, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Clean and maintain tools, workstations, and treatment rooms to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and adhere to time schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International's standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area, as required by regional regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in massage therapy or esthetics preferred.
  • Current licensure in massage therapy and esthetics, as required by regional regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with frequent movement and lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
