Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist/Esthetician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our spa team, you will provide exceptional massage and esthetic services to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products, and offer body treatments using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to your field of work, maintaining the highest level of expertise.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, and arrange workstations and treatment areas to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Check in with guests throughout the service to promote comfort, safety, and security.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the spa.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and maintain the cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and stick to time schedules, and handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International's standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain current skills and licensure in service areas as per regional requirements.

Requirements

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
