Job Summary
The United Nations is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Development Intern to support the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of institutional frameworks and social cohesion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and analyzing data related to social development and institutional frameworks
- Support the development of reports and publications on social cohesion and institutional frameworks
- Contribute to the organization of events and meetings related to social development and institutional frameworks
- Provide administrative support to the team
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a relevant field (social sciences, international relations, development studies, etc.)
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Working Arrangements
The internship is unpaid and full-time. The selected candidate will be responsible for their own expenses related to the internship, including travel and accommodation.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
