Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our Global Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our operational efficiency and service excellence. Our extensive network of over 300 manufacturing and distribution facilities is designed to support our sales and marketing initiatives, driving company growth through optimized operations and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage collaboratively with teams across Supply and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to establish effective supply strategies that align with key demand and supply dynamics.
  • Partner with Supply/Material Planners to devise optimal strategies for setting critical planning parameters, including safety stock targets and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), ensuring alignment with service, cost, and working capital objectives.
  • Conduct long-term planning processes, assessing capacity across the supply chain from both regional and global perspectives, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Analyze and update essential master data fields within the ERP system to ensure compliance with supply chain protocols.
  • Offer thought leadership and mentorship to the Planning team, focusing on analytical methodologies and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at developing innovative solutions and enhancing planning performance, balancing business goals with cost-benefit analyses, seasonal demand trends, and inventory optimization strategies.
  • Create and enhance reporting and analytical tools to support departmental projects and processes as required.
  • Manage ad hoc Supply Chain projects as assigned, leveraging insights to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present reports for leadership review, ensuring effective communication of performance metrics to business partners.
  • Foster direct communication with various functions, local sales teams, and management, while coordinating with customers to ensure alignment.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning, Project Management, or Supply Chain Analytics within a manufacturing context.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, reporting tools, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and statistical analyses, integrating qualitative insights to inform Supply Chain leadership.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven project management capabilities with a history of meeting business objectives on time and within quality standards.
  • Experience with specific planning systems (e.g., JDA, APO).
  • APICS Certification.
  • Familiarity with databases and PowerBI.
  • Advanced Degree.
