Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our Global Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our operational efficiency and service excellence. Our network comprises over 300 manufacturing facilities and distribution centers strategically positioned to support our sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret planning data to update and disseminate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations.
  • Engage in long-term planning processes, assessing capacity across the supply chain from both regional and global perspectives, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including Supply and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing, to establish effective supply strategies that align with demand and supply dynamics.
  • Work alongside Supply/Material Planners to optimize planning parameters, such as safety stock targets and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), ensuring alignment with service, cost, and working capital objectives.
  • Review and refine master data fields within the ERP system to uphold compliance with supply chain protocols.
  • Offer guidance and thought leadership to the Planning team, focusing on analytical methodologies and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at developing innovative solutions to enhance planning performance, incorporating cost-benefit analyses, seasonal demand forecasting, and inventory optimization strategies.
  • Create and implement new reporting and analytical tools to support departmental projects and processes.
  • Participate in ad hoc supply chain projects as required, leveraging insights to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for leadership review and facilitate performance communication with business partners.
  • Foster effective communication with various functions, local sales teams, and management, while coordinating with customers.
  • Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement efforts within the supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning, Project Management, or Supply Chain Analytics within a manufacturing context.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, reporting tools, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex quantitative and statistical analyses, integrating qualitative insights to inform supply chain leadership.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven project management skills with a history of achieving business objectives within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Experience with specific planning systems such as JDA or APO.
  • APICS Certification.
  • Familiarity with database management and PowerBI.
  • Advanced Degree.
