The Role:

Corporate Account Executives play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by selling company products and closing long-term contracts. Key responsibilities include contract negotiations, sales force automation, prospecting, and sales renewals. This position will handle the sales process from initial contact to close, leveraging resources strategically throughout the cycle while effectively articulating the value propositions of Sovos' products and services.

This role involves collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, emphasizing effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect within assigned territories to create leads for new client sales, growing pipeline opportunities.
  • Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans to ensure quota attainment.
  • Maintain integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders.
  • Ensure internal and external client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the sales and marketing teams by sharing ideas and strategies for new business development.
  • Leverage multiple communication methods to engage clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Plan and execute territory strategies efficiently.
  • Effectively uncover opportunities by asking insightful questions.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor, sharing best practices and messaging across the organization.
  • Be open to learning from other sales roles, internal partners, and client experiences.
Requirements:
  • Able to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles.
  • 1-3 years' experience in BDR or quota-carrying sales roles; software solution sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts.
  • Able to concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficient in using technology to fulfill work requirements and effective communication.
