Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the execution of projects within our Process Automation area in Chile.

Your role will involve overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.

You will also identify, qualify, quantify, manage project risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued.

The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Project Management within the Mining segment, with a strong track record of delivering Engineering and Commissioning of Specialized and Automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading medium-sized projects using MS Project or Primavera P6, with knowledge of SAP ERP
  • Managing project teams and ensuring effective communication with diverse stakeholders
  • Maintaining a 'zero-harm' mindset, prioritizing quality results while preventing workplace accidents
  • Driving formal acceptance of projects, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration
  • PMO certification or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluent Spanish language skills, with advanced English language proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
