Job Summary

This Medical Lead Solid Tumors role is a critical part of our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced medical professional to lead the development and implementation of medical affairs plans for Solid Tumors. The successful candidate will provide scientific expertise, support clinical studies, build relationships with key opinion leaders and regulatory partners, and ensure high-quality responses to medical enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Medical Enquiries
  • Respond to medical enquiries in a timely and high-quality manner, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Establish response documents for frequently asked questions.
Clinical Trial Support
  • Provide scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trials or clinical research activities.
  • Oversight of clinical studies within the therapeutic area.
Non-Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trials
  • Support country strategy for these activities.
Medical Materials Review and Approval
  • Coordinate review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials.
  • Tailor medical materials from global or region for partner engagement and events to local needs.
Medical Insights and Risk Management
  • Ensure medical insights are provided to cross-functional groups, including pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, market access, QA, commercial teams, brand team, and others.
  • Identify and assess risks, develop mitigation plans, implement, and monitor internal controls.
Essential Requirements
  1. Education
  • University degree in life science (mandatory), physician (MD) highly desirable.
Experience
  • Validated experience in similar roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry working with Oncology products.
Partner Engagement and Collaboration
  • Strong partner engagement skills.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.

  • Strategic mindset with agile learning capabilities.
Field Work
  • Availability to do up to 30% of field work.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
