Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Ivy Tech Community College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and facilitating student learning in assigned classes, providing effective instruction and assessment, and maintaining student attendance and grading records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, assessments, and evaluations that align with College policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student attendance and grading records, adhering to College policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to students outside of scheduled class time, addressing their concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with program coordinators and department chairs to resolve issues and ensure effective program operation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field (or Bachelor's degree in nursing with a written academic plan of study for completion of a Master's degree in nursing).
