Clinical Instructor

This part-time position involves teaching nursing courses as an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a learning environment that fosters student success and providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned classes, utilizing technology as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate student attendance and grading records, adhering to College policies.
• Submit requested information within established timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Student Support:

• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions or provide assistance.
• Address student concerns and, if necessary, consult with program coordinators to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Possesses a current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• The majority of faculty members shall hold master's degrees in nursing.
• Faculty with Bachelor's degrees in nursing must meet specific requirements, including a written academic plan for completion of a Master's degree.
