The Opportunity

As a Senior Commercial Manager at Abbott, you will have the chance to lead the Core Lab Diagnostics commercial team in the south region, driving sales and margin growth. This role requires executing a clear strategy to expand market share, ensure client satisfaction, team development, and exceed plan commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and drive region success, developing and executing an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin goals.
  • Play a key role in driving the distributors' sales force to develop new business and increase revenue at the installed base.
  • Responsible for regional profitability, meeting goals, customer satisfaction, and technical service efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between CRDx and Distributor partners within the territory, ensuring compliance with policies and commercial strategies set by CRDx in South Region (Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador).
  • Develop a high-performance team by acquiring, developing, and retaining top talent, driving a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Business-related fields.
  • 5+ years in sales managerial roles focused on the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, hospitals) with demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.
  • Experience in managing sales through distributors' channels.
  • 3-5 years' experience in people management.
  • Sales experience in the diagnostics industry is preferred.
  • Coaching and personnel development skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • English and Spanish fluency are required.
  • Willing to travel 65% of the time.
