**What do we do?**

Mainstream Renewable Power is a leading developer of renewable energy projects worldwide focusing on onshore and offshore wind projects as well as emerging renewable technologies. Mainstream will construct and operate renewable energy assets globally and is committed to delivering its projects to the highest safety standards.

**What are we looking for?**

Mainstream is looking for an Accountant who will analyze the accounting ledgers, preparing and controlling the financial reports that are required in the company, in order to ensure that the accounting records are in accordance with the transactions and parameters stipulated by MRP, thus ensuring that they are recorded within the terms of the international financial reporting standards.

**What Challenges will you face?**
- Execute and support full GL for Chilean companies and other country locations as required, including fixed assets, banking and cashing.
- Analyze and review all accounting accounts.
- Analyze and review project costs for Chilean entities.
- Analyze the database of land leases.
- Support audit processes, including the preparation of statutory accounts, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements (or other stipulated periods).
- Manage system support relationships.
- Support in the development of continuous improvements to internal controls, processes and financial systems.
- Provide information to other internal areas that require particular information from the accounting area.

**What knowledge do you require?**

Educational, knowledge and experience background:

- Accountant degree or similar degree is required.
- IFRS Full

Experience
- A high calibre qualified accountant (5+ years PQE)
- Experience in accounting for multi-jurisdiction/currency transactions.
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics or another high-end accounting software package desirable.

Language skills
- Intermediate English required, Fluent English a significant advantage.

- A high standard of commitment with Safety, assuming safety as a priority value in all its task and responsibilities. (mandatory)
- Strong organisation, communication, interpersonal and management skills required.
- High levels of energy and motivation, with a track record of delivery.
- Confident self-starter with the ability to act on own initiative, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel: Minimal.
