Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Facility Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall availability and reliability of data center operations. This involves maintaining high levels of performance while minimizing operating costs in facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Center Management: Responsible for the on-site management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.
  2. Risk Management: Has primary responsibility for 2-5 Data centers, may require local and international travels.
  3. Strategic Planning: Participates in strategic planning projects.
  4. Infrastructure Development: May oversee the build-out of Facility-specific infrastructure in existing locations.
  5. Talent Acquisition: Participates in recruiting efforts.
  6. Training and Development: Is active in the training and/or development of others.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school or equivalent diploma.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment.

Skills: 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other basic administrative tools.

Management Experience: 3+ years of experience managing diverse teams.
