We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Specialist to join our team in Santiago, Chile. As an expert in renewable energy, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients across the life cycle of their projects.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Renewable Energy Specialist. You will be responsible for performing technical due diligence on wind and/or PV assets, including yield assessments using tools such as WindPRO or PVsyst. Additionally, you will conduct site visits to identify potential issues that could affect the long-term operation of the plants.

  • Perform technical due diligence of wind and/or PV assets, which may include battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Conduct yield assessments using tools such as WindPRO or PVsyst.
  • Visit project sites to identify potential issues that could impact plant performance.

You will also be responsible for designing layouts of wind farms or PV plants using tools such as AutoCAD and PVcase. Furthermore, you will support our construction team in Independent or Owner’s Engineering services and provide input during the development phase of projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a similar field. You should also have at least 2-3 years of experience in the energy market and expertise in consultancy and the renewable sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Project is essential. Fluency in Spanish and English is also required.

Additionally, we are looking for someone with experience in Technical Due Diligence (TDD) for projects in Chile and knowledge of wind and PV technology. Knowledge of specialized software like PVCase, WindPRO, PVsyst, or similar would be a plus.

At Course, we offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
