Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project and Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects and building effective relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning
    • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, gathering information to inform business cases, plans, and schedules.
    • Utilize planning tools to create cross-functional plans and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with numerous stakeholders, including government and governance bodies.
    • Understand stakeholder needs and develop effective communication strategies.
    • Demonstrate influencing skills to achieve solutions and resolve challenging stakeholder situations.
  • Communications
    • Develop and deliver project information to relevant stakeholders using various communication methods.
    • Ensure compliance with standardized tools and template requirements.
  • Risk Management
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies across projects and at a strategic level.
    • Apply lateral thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and engage teams to resolve issues.
  • Project/Program Delivery
    • Lead the delivery of multiple related projects required for a specific business functional strategy.
    • Mentor junior project/program team members in project management.
  • Resource Management
    • Problem-solve resource and budgetary issues with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Conclude disputes successfully and independently.
  • Customer Care
    • Manage large-scale, complex, multi-site, and multi-regional customer deployments involving cross-functional and cross-regional project teams.
    • Meet with and present to customer executives at the program level.
    • Develop overall program schedules in conjunction with customer requirements.
    • Manage internal company-wide stakeholders on project teams and hold them accountable for meeting commitments.
    • Have an in-depth technical knowledge of all Equinix products and processes.
    • Resolve complex issues and escalations independently at all levels.
    • Assist in process development and documentation.
    • Document lessons learned and share with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in project management.
  • Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Prince2 Practitioner certification preferred.
