Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team at Vanderlande Industries in the LATAM region. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable processes for the region, including daily processing of customer invoicing and customer collections.
You will collaborate with the implementation of Tungsten in Latam, a system management tool, and assist in the control of PO line receptions for the correct entry of supplier invoices. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of contact for suppliers for invoice entry and payment, and contribute to administrative tasks for the regional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage Accounts Payable processes for the LATAM region
- Process customer invoicing and customer collections
- Collaborate in the implementation of Tungsten in Latam
- Control PO line receptions for supplier invoices
- Act as first point of contact for suppliers
- Contribute to administrative tasks for the regional team
- Prepare information for external accountants regarding monthly and annual Taxes
- Collaborate in monthly closing based on closing dates and deadlines established by Veghel
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Specifications of Accounts payable
- Manage and control employee expense claims in Chile
- Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical degree in accounting
- More than 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable activities
- Knowledge of electronic invoicing processes
- Understanding of balance sheet principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage
