Our Finance team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide proactive support in completing accounts and accounting tasks. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Services function by undertaking duties assigned in the Finance Services duty statements.
- Ensure compliance with all GHD Finance policies and procedures.
- Provide continuous feedback to the Manager/Team Leader on matters related to compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Foster a cooperative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team and other operating centers.
- Assist the team on other tasks or projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Experience in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel & expense accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, master data management, and basic to intermediate understanding of Accounting and Finance processes.
- Strong communication skills to explain regulations, policies, processes, and guidelines in plain English.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in collating, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Excellent time management skills and proven ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience in identifying process improvement opportunities and problem-solving.
- Excellent coordination skills with understanding of when to escalate issues.
