**Important responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Take ownership of all processes and requirements of the Accounting/Finance team
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting/Finance team
- Manage month-end processing resulting in timely and accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements; ensure that the reported results comply with Chile GAAP or financial accounting standards
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinate with auditors and provide needed information for the quarterly and annual external audits, internal audits, IRS audits, and any other related with department activities
- Manage tax requirements and tax compliance processes
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

**Skills we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or similar
- Working knowledge of accounting, finance, tax, legal, and business operations in Chile. Having knowledge of Colombian regulations in the same areas is a plus.
- IFRS knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced English and Spanish communication skills
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail, quality, and result oriented
