We are seeking for a solution-oriented professional, skilled in consultative sales who is curious to learn more about global consumer markets and emerging consumer trends.
**Overview of the role**:
This is a combined hunter-farming role that is part of the sales team based in our **Santiago office** that is responsible managing current client portfolio seeking new deals as well as renewing past deals in **different kinds of corporations **across Latin America.
This position is suitable for very talented professionals, with a background in consultative sales, business development or related areas, who can relate to an existing portfolio, developing deeper and wider relationships, finding new contacts within organizations to better secure renewals and detecting new upselling opportunities from new client challenges.
As a Key Account Executive, you will identify, target, and contact current organizations in the territory assigned. You will also have to detect new upselling opportunities with high fit with Euromonitor Business Solutions and therefore high business potential, search new contacts involved in such upselling opportunities, identifying different roles such as their decision-making executives and deliberate about the more appropriate areas for carrying forward to completion such business opportunitiy.
This role is office based, with few travels as required to meet clients in Latin America. During Covid-19 pandemic period we are working in a flexible scheme, in the office and from home.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Evaluate territory potential to prioritize and prospect new upselling opportunities in portfolio.
- Take ownership of your personal sales metrics/targets
- Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan
- Create account development plans to map out key sponsors for top priority accounts
- Arrange and keep track of cold callings and in-person meetings
- Create and conduct effective presentations to external clients
- Maintain frequent internal communication to update on sales metrics/targets
- Keep track of Euromonitor’s developments globally in terms of solutions and case studies
- Keep track of news and developments across territory-based industries
**Requirements**:
**Skills/Proficiencies required**:
- Commercial awareness and self-motivated
- Knowledge or interest in international markets, consulting and market research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish and English)
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Goal orientated, target driven and highly organized
- Resilient personality and able to work under pressure
- Proactive and creative about problem-solving
- General curiosity about businesses opportunities and challenges
- Professional attitude to discuss intelligently with c-level executives
- 1-3 years of experience in consultative sales of projects or services;
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA will help accelerate your success
