**Job Description**:
**What you will do**:

- Supervise a team of approximately 30 people and managers in Chile and the United States.
- Grow, develop, and engage 6-8 direct reports (Associate Managers and Managers) within our growing Quality Control team.
- Work with the Quality Operations Management team in Chile and the United States to support the team through feedback and coaching, performance management, conducting annual performance reviews, and managing daily administrative tasks of the team.
- Oversee and manage the Quality Assurance team's strategy by developing, organizing, and managing your team's productivity goals, OKRs, objectives, KPIs, and product improvements that will drive success towards our annual company goals.
- Ensure maximum accuracy of records and compliance with all US laws and regulations through team auditing practices.
- Utilize data to synthesize recommendations and share them with the US and Chile Quality Operations Management team and other key stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration within a co-geographic team and high employee satisfaction rate.
- Build a strong relationship with other Compliance Ops stakeholders such as Disputes Senior Management, Shared Services Senior Management, and Compliance Ops Director (whom you will report to).

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of professional experience, with a focus/experience in operations, support, risk, fraud, auditing, compliance, or trust and safety is preferred.
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience leading and coaching a team with a track record of building relationships and understanding the daily work nature of the team.
- This person needs a high level of analytical and data-driven thinking. They use data and research to make strategic and informed decisions.
- When it comes to problem-solving, this person must think innovatively, using divergent and critical thinking skills to find multiple solutions to problems that already have accepted solutions, for example, improving a process or operation to make it more efficient or adaptable.
- Effective and timely communicator. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to provide information, training, and guidance to individual contributors. Additionally, they must have confidence and be comfortable in leadership meetings and have the ability to communicate effectively and transparently with staff.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, as well as experience in leading large projects involving multiple direct subordinates and peers within the organization.
- Proficient in both English and Spanish at a professional level.
- Relationship management skills - build and foster effective working relationships with your team and other key stakeholders across Checkr.
