**General Purpose Overview**
**Grow and develop the CRU business in Chile and the wider South American region while providing leadership for the CRU team in Santiago.**:
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**

**Business Development**

a) Responsible for sales and business development within country and line management for in-country/region sales resources.
b) Responsible for renewals and new business sales targets for country/region.
c) Key customer relationship development to support identification and target key executive, regional Associations and C-suite feedback and interaction of the value of CRU services to our clients (not content expertise) and help raise the profile of CRU in local markets.
d) Develop and implement a multi-faceted regional growth strategy which will support and ensure sales revenues to meet annual and quarterly sales targets.
e) Collaborate with marketing, customer services, consulting desks, analysis teams and sales colleagues and managers, to ensure successful implementation and financial growth.

**CRU Ambassador**

a) CRU Ambassador - Develop local partnerships and relationships to drive CRU business development. This will require internal alignment to adjust priorities and allocate resources while not having direct revenue accountability.
b) Ensure that excellent relationships are established and maintained with key government and regulatory bodies such as the NDRC
c) Ensure that relationships are in place with universities and local groups to help facilitate an intern program pipeline to attract talent.
d) Personify CRU global/regional cultures and CRU values by having a positive attitude, being a clear communicator, honest, empathetic, open minded, accountable, and collaborative.
e) Ensuring teams work across function in a collaborative way to ensure region has resources, support and voice at CRU corporate level.
f) Sharing best practices - aligned with CRU global initiatives and regional pivots, encourage breaking down functional silos, support change management, and provide motivation.

**Manage the Operations**

a) Key liaison with senior management to drive regional success and track execution to business strategies. Update executive members on key initiatives, gain support from the executive on regional ambitions, and partner on people strategy and performance management.
b) Fiduciary responsibilities to include [facilities] budget, directorship, and duty of care responsibilities to the team, and work with key global stakeholders to deliver common tools, platforms, and KPI’s.

**Minimum Required Qualifications**
Relevant first degree (e.g. Engineering, Economics) with a number of years experience in a related sector. Graduate level degree preferred.
- Ability to lead, influence and motivate others, develop and mentor members of the broader team and provide clear direction even in situations involving ambiguity and uncertainty
- The ability to lead or contribute to discussion with senior external stakeholders, providing analysis and insight that is positioned appropriately given an understanding of their business needs and challenges
- Fluent English with the ability to construct and express clear written and spoken messages. It is also important to have fluent local language skills within the office location.
- Strong individualized management experience working with reports across a wide range of skills and knowledge levels
- Project management experience including exposure to working across multi-locations with different cultures.
- Real-world experience in drawing meaning from data and qualitative information to provide insight for decisionmakers.
